Some days ago we received a Postcard from Manni our monster which was missing since a while!! He introduced us to his new girlfriend, Kiki. She is a Menehune. Menehunes are said to be little creatures, who live in the hidden forests of the hawaiian islands. They are very small, almost dwarf size and have magic power. They love to do little surprises and favours to make human people happy. Manni told us he fell in love immediately when he saw her (we can see why!!!!)

We were very happy to finally have news about Manni, so we asked him to tell us more about his journey to Hawaii! He explained us he had to leave Munich because we were so lazy and busy with other things that we did not create new friends for him, so he went to search for them far away. He put on his favourite summer outfit (he loves red stripes!), jumped into a bag of a woman in the airport and landed in Hawaii.

There he met Kiki and Ikaika the two Menehunes. Ikaika is Kikis brother and he knows the hawaiian forests by heart.

Manni really enjoys the time with them and takes long walks in the forests. One day he met Chuck Kautschuk from Australia (his real first name is Charles but everybody calls him Chuck because it’s cooler). Chuck is really into all trend sports of this world. He tries out everything that gives him an adrenalin kick! Once he did bullriding and the bull only threw off his upper body. That is why he has no legs. So he searched for an alternative and constructed a bike (fixed gear of course!!!) as his lower part of the body. Now he is driving around in the hawaiian trees and it really gives him his kicks!

They liked eachother and Chuck told Manni that he knows a place where he can drink german beer. After a while it turned out that Chuck had really a lot to tell! He did not stop talking.

4 hours later Chuck said he needed to try out another trail in the jungel of Hawaii. Manni told him to be careful (because Manni is more the snugly kind of guy)!

He enjoyed his bavarian beer and the silence of Hawaii!

The next day some of the hawaiian paparazzi spotted Manni at a party on a little island in the middle of the sea. He did not write us about that. Maybe he didn’t want to make us jealous. (and where was Kiki by the way?)

But at least now we might know the reason why his one eye is missing on the following pictures. Probably he was celebrating a bit too crazy on that island!

His story just continues with him and Ikaika coming back in the morning from a “Menehune-mission” by night, when they hear someone screaming from the trees! And guess who it was? Cool Chuck hanging in the trees without his bike, which lay totally destroyed on the ground!

Manni could not stop laughing! Even if his face looks very angry all the time! Manni suggested Chuck to come back to Munich with him, because he knows a very good monster-factory. Maybe they could repair him in a professional way. They took a picture together where they both try to look nice (to convince us to repare both of them. Mannis eye and Chucks half body)

After seeing this picture we really wanted Manni to come back! So we made a deal with him: he tries come back really soon and we start to create new friends for him in August and fix his cool friend from Australia!

For now he enjoys the sun in Hawaii with the Menehunes and wishes Miriam good luck with her bachelor thesis (he sends all the Menehune-power from Hawaii)!

We told him at least he should learn surfing when he is already in Hawaii and that we believe he could look really sexy on a surfboard! He said he would and promised to return to Munich soon!
